about satsang: creation and mission


Practicing prenatal yoga with my first pregnancy spurred me into teaching yoga.  The breathing techniques it offered helped me to experience the birth I had envisioned.  My passion and love for sharing yoga with others has become my path in life. Everyone can do yoga and I share that in every class.

 

Most important though, I know that without the support of my husband, my family and friends, this would not have been possible. My husband is my biggest supporter, my daughters, my biggest motivation and my fellow students, my biggest inspiration.  I am humbly grateful of every person who practices yoga and attends any of my classes.

BRINGING YOGA TO EVERY BODY

Yoga is for everyone and the benefits can be felt through reduced stress, increased immunity, improvement in flexibility, strength, balance and posture. Practicing yoga has been proven to decrease pain, anger and depression and also helps to normalize weight.

Additionally, we would like to be a resource center for Pre and Postnatal Women - offering a multitude of community resources to them during this special time in their lives.
